My story...

I am a former employee of US Cellular, I worked 8 years in the agent channels, and 3.5 years in the corporate channels; and this store either is trying to rip off employees for no reason (which I don't believe) or does not train their people at all (I totally believe)...

I have given this company more than enough chances. The last time I was in there one of the agents actually told me to go to Verizon. Last chance was today. Went in because phone is not working at all. Neither of the agents even looked my way. Never talked to me to let me know how long a wait it would be. I thought after my last experiences there which were very negative over a year ago that I would see what would happen hoping that their attitude and store personnel had developed into something other than a DMV attitude. I sat for 15 minutes and not one attempt by anyone to assist me. I left. I'd give them no stars if I could.

I highly recommend Camera Case (US Cellular) for your cellular needs. I frequent the Ripon location on a regular basis, and have always found Lee to be professional, helpful and courteous.

I have spent the last year custom tailoring my family's plan to be as ideal for us as possible; had set up a 8GB plan with discounts on each line that gives us exactly what my family needs at a very reasonable price. US Cellular has policies that allow me to stay on this plan as long as I bought my phones under the new retail installments or bought the phone ourselves. Was totally happy to do either option, and did end up buying the phone under retail installment.

I had to send my brother in law by himself to get a new phone because we live hours apart; but my brother in law, like he knows he should, called me before hand to get the details about what needs to be done. I tell him explicitly, you don't need to change plans, just buy your new phone under the RIC and you'll be on your way. The associate took half an hour of his time telling him that he had to take the new plan, but that it wouldn't be that big of a deal because the new plan was cheaper as well.

Courteous, Knowledgeable and Service Oriented!

Well, it was not only a lie that we had to change plans - there are situations where a customer has to change a plan if they want to sign a 2 year contract and get a discounted phone, I won't argue that - but US Cellular DOES NOT make their customers change their plan if they buy their own phones, which is exactly what we were doing; but we were also lied to about the plan being cheaper. The 8GB version of the plan we were on only cost the family $118 a month and the 6GB version the rep said we were required to go to was $145 a month, a $27 a month not including the extra cost of equipment.

P.S. reading former reviews...its the same Lee associate listed before...maybe Camera Case should take some feedback from their customers...

I just would like to say that my earlier review was not a good one. What I said was true, however this wonderful young lady named MOLLY ;-) went above and beyond to help fix the problems. I am also happy that the girl who caused the issues is no longer there. I want to girl a shout out to managers like MOLLY who do the right thing and ask, "what can I do to help and better your experience". Now I have to go from 2 stars to 5, I would give more if I could. Thank you for being the wonderful person you are Molly.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! AS A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF US CELLULAR THIS IS NOT HOW THEY WANT YOU TO BE TREATED AS A CUSTOMER!!!

I will say that thankfully - because I called in so quickly and noticed the issue - US Cellular as a company made ways to solve this problem - (I want to point out they couldn't give me exactly what I had...so even though they can do what they can they can't always give you back what you had) - because USCC does care about you as a customer. However, these agent locations are like playing Russian Roulette with your plan; I know there are good employees out there but these agent companies allow enough bad employees to work for them to make it an experience I wouldn't recommend to anyone!!!

    I have given this company more than enough chances. The last time I was in there one of the agents actually told me to go to Verizon. Last chance was today.
